Gurks Squad Pizza Party Mellow Boards 2019-07-19 | Since the first day we spotted “the ditch” during the Kickstarter filming days we knew this would be a place we would return to and ride with electric skateboards like never before. First we had a first session with the Mellow team at the Mega Ditch. Then we baptised it the Mellowdrome for our 2nd session where we invited some pro longboarders. After every session we had that feeling of wanting to share this unreal place with more people so we decided to have an event. The thing about this spot is that it is super fun and you ride super fast and slide from one dimension to another, but if you fall you risk heavy consequences. The Gubbel skate crew tells us scabs and scrapes are called pizza in longboarding. So what was more fitting to call this event the Pizza Party! Mellow Show - eSkate Lights Mellow Boards 2018-11-06 | With the season’s changing it has become harder to see the road we ride on. It would be great to get a little help to see where we are going and avoid any surprises. In this episode of the Mellow Show we explore some simple options and solutions out there and others figured out by our owners. For skateboard light mounts the current standard is Shred Lights. They seem pretty solid and we have tested them on our Mellows, but the back lights don’t mount to a Mellow very easily so we wanted to test an alternative.Check out the full review in this blog 👉 goo.gl/Xi5SiSeSkate Lights is the slightly cheaper alternative that have a mounting system that works on the Mellow. It is the first version and takes a little while to mount since you need to unscrew 6 screws and repeat if you want to recharge them. On the plus side these lights are super bright, have a couple modes, last for over an hour in the front and couple hours in the back. They are very water resistant which is an important feature to go with a Mellow that will be ridden through all the chaos that can be found on the streets and sidewalks in the fall. Venice Beach is so Mellow Mellow Boards 2017-11-10 | Our filmer friend Dan Vogt was heading to California and we thought we could help make his trip more Mellow by lending him a board. The first place he hit up was Venice Beach. He cruised the beach but as the night started to creep over the hills during a peaceful sunset, people were quickly noticing the glowing light under his Mellow Board. One by one, they walked up to try to understand that unidentified rolling object. He explained it was an electric skateboard and showed them what was hiding under his deck, a Mellow Drive. They were all eager to try. Even core skaters appreciated the speed, free rolling feel and the magic of the Mellow.
