Constantly searching for artifacts in the Assemblage has left Sawyer in a fatigued mental state. Then, without warning, Sawyer senses the Metal Cross somewhere. Sawyer searches for this artifact in hopes of regaining happiness and energy, only to realize that it's not really functioning properly. Sawyer then comes to the conclusion that the Assemblage is not as it seems.
