What Jon did is objectively wrong and it's important that we look at this example of what *not to do* in the content creation space. Jon is my friend and I hope he has learned from this mistake. It's important that when your friends make mistakes (and yes everyone does make mistakes), that you call them out on it and help them realize why they were in the wrong. A true friend doesn't sweep things like this under the rug or turn the other cheek.
