The biggest drawback to using Super 8 film cameras was the lack of audio (but there were plenty of other things to complain about at the time). I shot this as a kid, and now with the luxury of time, video editing software, and the ability to find or record any audio you might need, the final cut of this masterpiece is complete.
I used a lot of practical effects in this piece, and perhaps one of my favorite is where I used a tiny fountain pump to squirt fake blood out of the cylindrical container into which Mr. Oops falls. It now works so much better with a little sound.
I am also particularly fond of the use of my old HO scale trains being dragged along a the tracks in the dirt.
