When you flunk Mr. Inui's history exam. After all, in mr. Inui's class, you either learn or make history.
This was a fun piece to make. The core idea here is to separate two different segments of the piece with different modes. It begins with a phrygian mode outlining the clear flat second. Then there's a short build-up after which we change the mode to a natural minor. It has a much brighter sound. The melody purposefully runs down the contours of the mode to make a distinction to the previous part. I think it turned out nicely.

Boy, it has been a while since I uploaded one of these. It's not like I've stopped making music, it's just that I've not uploaded new stuff to youtube in a while. Also, I haven't finished many of the works I've started, so there's that. Currently, I have songs almost ready for Mr. Hiruta, Ms. Chouno and Nozomi Suemitsu from P3.
