MQTT-SN is a lightweight version of MQTT and although currently it isn't anywhere as popluar as MQTT it could quickly change.

MQTT-SN was designed to work over UDP and functionally to be as close to MQTT as possible .It was designed specifically for Wireless sensor networks and this meant reducing the payload size.

In this video tutorial we look at the basic features of MQTT-SN and how it differs from MQTT.

In particular we look at topic ids, topic lists,and the topic registration process.
We look at the different QOS levels an the QOS -1 level which allows publishing without an existing connection.

We look at the proposed MQTT-SN architecture and how it fits into MQTT and the different MQTT devices and implementations e.g RSMB (Really small message broker).
