In this video, I am covering my swap of the factory North American version of the intake manifold for an International version which was provisioned for MPI (multiport injection). I could have modified my factory manifold, but I decided to just swap it out. The removal and installation was pretty easy, but I did not have the front bracket that may make it more difficult. Anyway, the trick I found to getting the manifold in and out easily was to remove the oil filter. That gave just enough room to ease the manifold out. If I didn’t do that, it looks like I would have had to loosen or remove the hard fuel line that feeds the direction injection fuel injectors from the HPFP (high pressure fuel pump).
