a small level inspired by npnpnpnp by anpy: youtube.com/watch?v=0K3CsKnaDxM
Started in I think... 2021, on a night when I couldn't sleep, I decided to see how far I could take a parallax effect and made a funny prototype version of this. I can't remember exactly when I got the idea to pair this effect with Sinking Feeling, but it happened, and in 2023, I finally revisited the idea and made pretty much what you're seeing here minus the shader and particle effects. The colors used in the first part are actually ripped directly from npnpnpnp in the editor, don't fix what isn't broken y'know? Anyway, I lost motivation to keep working on this when my vision for the second part wasn't panning out due to many animated objects not layering properly (something about the fact that they're on a different spritesheet) and because doing anything in the editor with this level is a tedious nightmare. Basically I had wanted this level to be longer, and it wasn't gonna happen.. but I realized what I have here already is worth publishing anyway. Some polish, 2.2 additions, and an LDM later, level is done I guess! Its not much but I think its cool. Forgive me for the second part, I know its really hard to see but I thought the particle fog was interesting and ended up preferring that to leaving it as the featureless grey void it was before.

![Helvetican - Bufu [NO FAIL] (ITG / Stepmania)
This is the first chart I ever made, several months ago. I came up with that pattern at the second drop (2:12) in my head, then made the entire chart, played it, and... found out it doesnt really work. you would have to do these ridiculous hopscotch jumps so that, in each footswitch pair, your foot leaves the pad before the other foot comes down, and its super awkward. And also the entire chart was too hard for me to properly showcase (this is the nerfed version...). Heres a scuffed showcase of how its meant to go, at least! I still think the non-drop parts are charted pretty well
