As you guys asked! Here is a sound comparisson between the Akai mpc Sample and the mpc 60.
I used the drumloop of the Honeydrippers and recorded
hem into both mpc's. Because the mpc 60 is mono i also sampled mono into the mpc sample.
I was surprised the mpc sample can handle a little clipping on the drums! This makes it even more usefull for sampling direct into it. All the recordings are level matched so check it out!
