Our musicians have responded to the needs of students and teachers affected by changes to learning situations imposed by COVID-19 restrictions. Students in Toowoomba have been participating in QSO’s Prodigy Duet Project, where they record a ‘virtual’ duet with a QSO musician and receive online mentorship from our musicians. They will be able to use the recording of their duets for school concerts, examinations and auditions. Here is a video that Huw Jones, Section Principal Oboe, recorded as part of the project. This recording was produced with the assistance of ADFAS Brisbane and the St Baker Energy Innovation Fund.
