Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 3 in E-flat major, K. 447 was completed between 1784 and 1787, during the Vienna Period. The composition was written as a friendly gesture for the hornist Joseph Leutgeb (his name is mentioned few times in the score), and Mozart probably didn't consider it as particularly important, since he failed to enter it to the autograph catalogue of his works. The autograph score remained well preserved; it is stored in the British Library in London.The concerto is scored for 2 clarinets in B♭, 2 Bassoons, Solo Horn in E♭ and strings.The work is in three movements:
I. Allegro (4/4)
II. Romance (Larghetto) (4/4)
III. Allegro (6/8)

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarts Horn Concerto No. 2 in E-flat major, K. 417 was completed in 1783. The work is in three movements:

Mozarts good-natured ribbing of his friend is evident in the manuscript inscription W. A. Mozart took pity on Leitgeb, ass, ox and fool in Vienna on 27 May 1783. This is one of two horn concerti of Mozart to omit bassoons. It is also one of Mozarts two horn concerti to have ripieno horns (horns included in the orchestra besides the soloist), though in contrast to K. 495, the solo horn in this one does not duplicate the first ripieno horns part in the tutti passages.

The Sonata in F for Violin and Keyboard, K. 547, was completed on July 10, 1788 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The sonata is often nicknamed For Beginners and was completed two weeks after the similarly nicknamed piano sonata in C major, K. 545. Unlike the previous few keyboard sonatas, where the violin played in equal role, this sonata is dominated by the keyboard part. In that regard, only the violin part is easy and the keyboard part is not for beginners. There are three movements all in the tonic key of F major:
1. Andante cantabile
2. Allegro
3. Andante con variazioni
The movements are ordered in a non-standard manner with the slow movement first and the expansive Allegro in sonata form form placed second. There is significant dialogue between the violin and keyboard in the opening movement, but the keyboard dominates the latter two. The sonata ends with a set of six variations on a simple theme. The fourth variation is the only variation to feature the violin prominently and the fifth variation is in F minor for keyboard alone. The second movement was arranged for solo piano along with a transcription of the finale of the piano sonata in C, K. 545 to form the Piano Sonata in F major, K. 547a.

Symphony No. 16 in C major, K. 128, was the first of three symphonies composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in May, 1772, when Mozart was sixteen years old. This symphony is one of many written during the period in which Mozart stayed in Salzburg, between two trips to Italy. The autograph of the score is preserved in the Staatsbibliothek Preußischer Kulturbesitz in Berlin. The symphony has the basic scoring of two oboes, two horns, and strings. The form is that of a standard three-movement Italian overture:
1. Allegro maestoso, 3/4
2. Andante grazioso, 2/4
3. Allegro, 6/8.
The first movement, which a C major essay in sonata-allegro form, sounds at first to be in 9/8 due to the presence of triplets. However, as it enters the second half of the exposition section it becomes clear that the meter of this movement is actually 3/4. The development section is short, but filled with dense modulations. Some of this developmental spirit carries over into recapitulation, which turns out not to be perfectly literal.
The oboes and horns drop out of the second movement, which is another essay in sonata-allegro form, written for the strings alone. They return, however, for the third movement, in C major, which is a cheerful dance cast in an altered rondo form, with a coda.

Symphony No. 34 in C Major, K. 338, was written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1780, and completed on August 29. The work is scored for 2 oboes, 2 bassoons, 2 horns, 2 trumpets, timpani and strings. Although most symphonies have four movements, this symphony has only three, which was still common in the early classical period:
1. Allegro vivace, 4/4
2. Andante di molto (più tosto Allegretto), 2/4 in F major
3. Finale: Allegro vivace, 6/8.
The symphony features the fanfares and flourishes typical of the festive symphony or trumpet symphony, which is characteristic of Austrian symphonic writing in C major. This is the first of Mozarts C-major symphonies to exhibit this character, but the style would be revisited in his subsequent two works in this key, the 36th and 41st symphonies. The first movement is written in sonata form but also contains many styles and formal aspects of an Italian overture. There is no expositional repeat. The expositional coda contains an overture-like crescendo which is not included in the recapitulation. The development is based entirely on new material. The recapitulation on the expositions first theme is abbreviated and interrupted by a brief development of that theme. Finally, the movements coda contains nearly all of this first theme creating the appearance of a reverse-recapitulation common in Italian overtures. The second movement in F major is scored for strings sotto voce with divided violas and a single bassoon doubling the cellos and bass. Alfred Einstein advanced a theory in the third edition of the Köchel catalogue that the Minuet K. 409 was written at a later date by the composer for this work. However, there is no proof in the sources to support his thesis. Also, K. 409 calls for two flutes in its orchestration which does not match the rest of the symphony. The finale is in sonata form and features energetic tarantella or saltarello rhythms.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarts set of six sonatas for keyboard and violin, K. 26-31 were composed in early 1766 in The Hague during the Mozart familys grand tour of Europe. They were dedicated to Princess Caroline of Nassau-Weilburg on the occasion of the eighteenth birthday of her brother, the Prince of Orange. They were published as Mozarts Opus 4.
These works show an improvement in compositional technique over the sets for Paris (KV 6-9) and London (KV 10-15), although like the previous sets, the keyboard part dominates and the violin may be considered optional.
Mozart composed all three early sets of accompanied sonatas while touring northwest Europe. These types of sonatas were not favored at home in Salzburg. Mozart would not revisit this genre until 1777-78 on a trip to Mannheim and Paris.

The String Quartet No. 19 in C Major, KV. 465 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, nicknamed Dissonance on account of its unusual slow introduction, is perhaps the most famous of his quartets. It is the last in the set of six quartets composed between 1782-1785 that he dedicated to Joseph Haydn.
According to the catalog of works Mozart began early the preceding year, the quartet was completed on January 14, 1785. As is normal with Mozarts later quartets, it is in four movements:
1. Adagio-Allegro
2. Andante cantabile - in F major
3. Menuetto. Allegro. (C major, trio in C minor)
4. Allegro molto
The first movement opens with ominous quiet Cs in the cello, joined successively by the viola (on A♭ moving to a G), the second violin (on E♭) and the first violin (on A), thus creating the dissonance itself and narrowly avoiding a greater one. This lack of harmony and fixed key continues throughout the slow introduction before resolving into the bright C major of the Allegro section of the first movement, which is in sonata form. Mozart goes on to use chromatic and whole tone scales to outline fourths. Arch shaped lines emphasizing fourths in the first violin (C - F - C) and the violoncello (G - C - C - G) are combined with lines emphasizing fifths in the second violin and viola. Over the barline between the second and third measures of the example a fourth-suspension can be seen in the second violins tied C. In another of his string quartets, KV 464, such fourth-suspensions are also very prominent.
The second movement is in sonatina form, i.e. lacking the development section. Alfred Einstein writes of the coda of this movement that the first violin openly expresses what seemed hidden beneath the conversational play of the subordinate theme. The third movement is a minuet and trio, with the exuberant mood of the minuet darkening into the C minor of the trio. The last movement is also in sonata form.
