Join us as we chat to one of our favourite knitwear designers – Meiju Kallio of Meiju Knits. Meiju is a prolific designer who has created some of our favourite patterns. Her first book, ‘Contrasts’, published by Laine, is a stunner, and her newest book, also published by Laine, 'Entwined: Cables, Lace and Knitted Textures,' is a beautiful read too! Her patterns are a blend of modern elements with clever textures and design, making them ideal for elevated everyday wear. Some samples are even knit up in JAT yarns!

We were thrilled that Meiju decided to take an hour to have a natter with us and talk about her design process and the inspiration behind her beautiful work and what it's really like to write a book in our industry. This talk was filmed at our virtual Mill Open Weekend, Summer 2025. Thanks so much to Meiju for joining us and sharing their expertise with us!
