Making it in Holland | Moving to the Netherlands as an expat in 2004 at age 11 - My personal experience @MakingitinHolland | Uploaded May 2020 | Updated October 2024, 46 minutes ago.
Moving to the Netherlands... as an 11 year old girl... all the way back in 2004. Looking back, it was quite a journey and not always an easy one. In my most personal video to date, I am sharing with you the experiences of a young girl moving from her country to a completely new, strange place. I am glad that eventually the Netherlands became my second home and I can make videos to help other internationals and expats like you! :)

I know it ended up being a long video, but there was just a lot to share. I will make a second part to this probably in a couple of days. There is something so meditative talking to a camera especially during these times. Let me know if you would watch the part two down in the comments!
