Faye sadly did not become pregnant. I had so hoped to get a few more little Midases, but now I will have to be happy with just one. Faye is such a wonderful mouse, but sadly mousy lifespans are short and now she is too old to have any more babies. Midas adores his mom and they are super bonded. Midas gets his wonderful personality from both his mom Faye and his dad Brampton. Brampton is scheduled for neutering tomorrow. He has lived with a few females in the last week, so hopefully there will be a few more little Bramptons in three weeks time. Brampton is such a good natured little mouse, he will hopefully become my first male mouse to actually care for his own babies. Fun times ahead, Brampton will so love his life as a neutered male, he will no longer have to be alone and he will get to be a dad to his own little ones. And Midas will have a whole lot of half siblings.
Anyone interested in adopting any of my mice and is either prepared to travel to the Yukon to pick them up or pay the airfare for them to be shipped to a select larger city in Canada, let me know. Brampton's babies will have super friendly little personalities and be little fluff balls just like Midas. Some may even be iridescent :) Overall super little mice.
