Mountains Past was the title track (and one of my favorite songs) off my last album, a split companion album I did with the band Bus Gas. With this video I wanted to perform this song and show you my live setup (the suitcase of drone) and how I would perform this song live with all my tape loops. The left side 4 track is reserved for drones and chords, while the right side playback, notes, melodies, field recordings, and other sounds/textures. Off camera is my pedalboard playing back a guitar loop that I layer and manipulate live.
