Mountain Pass By HeatleyBros
Greetings Heroes!
We've been hiking for days, but today we've made it to the top of the path, the Mountain Pass!
What does "Mountain Pass" mean?
*ahem…A mountain pass is the highest portion of a path through a mountain range.The highest portion of the route is also the lowest route that can be traveled between mountains on each side. 8 )
in other words, its the…oof…easiest path to get across…but…ugh…still ultimately, the hardest part of the path! uufff!!
(You make it it to the top, near the edge of a wide open cliff)
huey! I am beat! (your guide starts dramatically gasping for air)
*huff…puff…. ohhh I think I'm cramping….I think I'm cramping..ok let me sit down. : (
(You're guide looks exhausted, you decide to set up camp at the top of the Mountain Pass)
oh thank goodness! *huff…*puff… I think I was about to PASS out :D :D :D
(your guide begins to catch his breath)
say…this is uh…pretty great view from here, eh?
Look, you can literally see everywhere we've been since we've started this journey….
(your guide is right, it's quite the view, and you can pretty much see everything)

…So funny how a different perspective makes things that felt so gigantic yesterday look so small today. Always a good reminder that nothing is what it seems in the moment, and in that spirit, don't take ANTYHING too seriously, even me! Haha :D
I feel better now…the fresh air is refreshing! A solid hike is it's own reward.
Hero, remember to take some deep breaths!
(You breath in deeply as you survey the massive mountain range, the great plains below, the castles and cities all in view. You remember the feeling that you can do anything you set your mind to. The cool air feels good on your face and neck)
(Your team is setting up camp while you watch the parameter)
Hey Hero, you don't have any food packed in there, do ya?
(you check your bag, only crumbs left from yesterday's breakfast...)
..aww man! if only there were something to eat around here!!
(you look closely at some shrubbery below your campsite, you recognize a certain bush with edible berries, but there's not an easy path down there)
(your guide sees what you see, he begins to grin)
You wouldn't mind making your way down there would you? :D :D :D
It's hard to guide on an empty stomach. What do you say, hero? WIll you go get some berries for me…uh I mean, us? :D :D :D
(your stomach starts growling again…its a detour but you decide it's worth it, even if there's only enough to keep your guide from complaining)
Woohoo! Thanks Hero, you going to be alright by yourself? the rest of the team is still setting up camp so you're going to have to go alone.
(you assure your guide you'll be fine, and make your way down the rocky path before you.)
(you enjoy the landscape and the fresh air. You notice an oddity though, as you get closer to the bright berry bushes, you begin to feel a little… disoriented…you sense an odd energy near that location…but the berries are visible, and look delicious…)
(You shake it off…and keep traversing the rocks. You notice there's also a cave nearby...)
(You look back up at the site, you can't see them anymore, you continue)
…
(the sun will be setting soon, it's a cloudy sky, and it will be hard to climb up in the dark..)
("better hurry up" you say to yourself)
(The berries are looking more and more vivid, your stomach growls again as you pick up the speed)
