Caldon Glover presents their second album on Cryo-Chamber: Metrophagy, a post-cyberpunk reflection on the cognitive dissonance between our ever advancing civilization and the true nature of growth and decay. The album does not to evoke an imagined advanced future dystopia, but the very real dystopia of now, steeped equally in instant connectivity and rampant disconnection.
Metrophagy: The act of consuming cities.
Pale washes of florescent light and the hum of air conditioning disguise the city as separate from nature, but the separation of our technological utopia and the natural world is an illusion, a barrier maintained only in our minds. Under those florescent lights swarms of mosquitos, the last great predator of human kind, are caught in spiders webs. Roots grow through the concrete under our feet.
The least natural impulse of humanity is to fight decay, we fill in cracks and send out an ever expanding network of glass and copper tendrils, but this thing we call decay is truly growth; mold breaks down matter to create cradles for new life, hyphae wrap around our fiber optic networks, our corpses feed forests. Our city is being eaten out from under us because we refuse to believe ourselves a part of this cycle.

Mountain Realm (of projects Atrium Carceri/Za Frûmi) presents his 2nd album on Cryo Crypt. A mist filled ancient nordic folk tale fantasy within the region of Frostfall.
In Frostfall, where winters chill never fades, the Crystal Palace stands as a testament to the past. Under the watchful gaze of the Troll King, the palace whispers tales of a bygone era. Once the crown jewel of Frostfalls first age, it shone brightly, its spires a beacon of hope in the desolate landscape. The first age of Man flourished here, but war and darkness drove them out, leaving the palace frozen in time.
Beyond the palace lies the White Bark forest, a realm of wonder and danger. Goblin-kin roam, and Elven seers weave illusions amidst the snow-covered trees. Here, reality and myth blur, and ancient magic stirs. Rumors of forgotten secrets and lost relics draw adventurers and wanderers to Frostfall, despite the dangers that lurk in the snowy mists.

A 2 hour dark soundscape album recorded by over 20 ambient artists to pay tribute to H.P. Lovecrafts Mythos
Rhan-Tegoth is a fifteen foot tall, medusa-like, insectoid amphibious god-being (Great Old One) of little power but vital to the return of the Old Ones. It lived in the warm seas of Yuggoth before coming to Earth.
Come journey deep into the underground depths, where long forgotten temples guarded by insectoid creatures stand untouched by human curiosity
They found the box in the basement of the British Museum. Inside it there was a leathery integument, like some muddy garb from pre-history. It was essentially colourless but with an underlying mottled green lustre. Jenkins, the anthropologist, was somewhat mesmerised by it. It was as if he had discovered something of great value, like some antique ceremonial shroud for an ancient bloodletting rite.
Maybe he had.
But Professor McIntyre was more of a mind that its anatomical qualities were of much more interest than its mystical aura. Especially so because there was nothing about the integument that seemed to correspond to the standard taxonomies of animal life.
So is this a compilation?
No, this is a collaboration and huge undertaking. Over 20 artists linked studios and sound for over a year so that they could work with each other. This led to a deep collaborative exploration of the Mythos and Rhan-Tegoth
2 CD album comes in a Deluxe 24 page Hard cover DigiBook. Artwork is served on Matte Laminated pages that makes the colors deep and preserved. Journal written by Alistair Rennie, art by Simon Heath. Digital booklet included with download.
