We love to go play in the snow in San Diego County whenever we can- we had great snow overnight so headed up after school to beat the crowds.
This was the Rivian’s first time in the snow- it handled it better than any other car I’ve had in the snow before by a long way! This is just an R1S dual standard and I drove in all purpose mode with the exception of pulling off into the parking area briefly using snow mode. Reminder to any Rivian owners, it’s extremely heavy and while it has no problem accelerating or finding traction to move, you need to keep the speed well in check as turning and braking are another story in something that weighs this much!
