Mount Brown rises up above Lake McDonald and the lodge which is a very popular area lower down in the park. You start at the Sperry Chalet Trail then branch off north to the Mount Brown Fire Lookout. You can continue offtrail up the summit, which involves some class 3/4, but I don't think many people actually summit this mountain. Great views though!
