Finally found one of these blind boxed model kits from Motor Nuclear!
It took me so long, in the time it took me to get one they've already announced a second series of these smaller SD style models, as well as a lineup of real- type 1/144 kits that have already seen release!
If you can find them for their intended price, I'd say they are a pretty cool little novelty. That's the catch though- that's not exactly an easy task!
Some of the designs are definitely based on the comic that most Motor Nuclear designs originate from. Some are direct reinterpretations of already existing kits as well.
I liked it enough that I ended up finding a box for a reasonable price- hopefully it'll show up soon as well!
