In this clip, I explain how to move to the right, create proper space, and allow your kakarite to pass straight forward smoothly. After they pass, you return to your position and take center again.
Correct motodachi movement helps maintain safety, flow, and correct kendo form—and it directly improves your partner’s practice. Small details like this make a big difference in quality keiko.
