Even though it doesn't seem like, but Doja Cat was a very shy kid. She studied piano and took tap, ballet and jazz dance lessons. And she was also teaching herself to sing.
At the age of 16, she dropped out of high school so she can pursue her dreams. And a very difficult period of her life began.
She was jobless, sleeping on the floor, and spending day and night browsing the internet, looking for beats from YouTube, so that she could use them to make her own melodies. And then she would upload her music to SoundCloud.
Doja Cat is notorious for going viral on social media and her unique music and music videos are the reasons why. After releasing the song "So High" on SoundCloud, her talent and chaotic energy began being recognized and she even got a record deal.
