This is the entire 8 hour hearing and ruling today, condensed down to 2 hours. I cut out anything extra and I sped up portions of this except for the testimonies of Juror Z which was most important, Rhonda McElvine (whose testimony was a real hoot!) 9:55 to 11:00 Judge tells of Jurors watching today's proceedings via their cell phones
12:00 Jurors C, F, L, E, P, O, Y, W, Q, and K testify to 32:05
32:05 Alternate Juror 741 testified, corroborated Juror Z.
Becky Hill: 32:28 to 1:31:43
Rhonda McElvine, court clerk testified, 1:31:45 corroborated Juror Z, to 1:55:55
2:17:18 Justice's Ruling
I will say I'm not pleased w/ the Judge's Ruling because she did agree that Becky Hill influenced the jury for her own benefit and money, so how's that not enough to get a new trial? She put the burden on Murdaugh's attorneys to prove their case but then limited them as to what evidence they could present. Now his Appeal is back on (it was paused during these proceedings) The justice system is flawed, and that's the nicest way to put it. Regardless of your feelings on Alex Murdaugh's guilt or innocence and the verdict, this is about everyone's right to a fair trial.
