Nine years after I first uploaded the preview for this scene, here is the full thing. The original video had much of its music removed, this time I edited and remixed it but don't be surprised if YouTube's copyright system eventually clamps down on this too.
This was originally animated between December 2015 and April 2016, but some segments were added later as I kept going back to revise the scene, take out some things or insert other, and both the intermission with Anguirus and the end screen with Mothra are new additions that I included to lighten the mood.
I went back and forth about how the island scene should play out, rewrote the dialogue a few times and I originally animated a different ending to it. That was back in August of 2017. I didn't like how any version of this scene turned out and thought of cutting it, but the rest of the animation is such a wreck that there was no point in trying to improve it any more.
All in all, this is still an early part of the whole Fan Animation Thing saga, and I didn't really know what I was doing when I made this. The writing and animation improves slightly in later parts.
