August 2nd, 2018, Solon Township Michigan. Police are called to the house of 27 year old Seth Welch and 28 year old Tatiana Fusari.
That was Seth and Tatiana... Seth didn't seem to mind so much that his 10 month old daughter was no longer breathing... Using the term "dead as a door nail" to describe your infant child is just disgusting to me. Their daughters name was Mary Welch, sadly she has to share a last name with such vermin.
The names of their remaining children have been redacted for their privacy. Yes, they had 2 other children, ages 2 and 4 at the time.
Police arrived and brought both Seth and Tatiana down to the station for questioning. The children were sent home with their Grandparents.

Mary Welch weighed 8 pounds at the time of her death... They allowed their infant child to starve and dehydrate to fatal levels. With strong beliefs that doctors would do more harm to their family than good, they never even thought of taking her to seek medical help. They just prayed about it, instead of at the very least giving their daughter the food and water she needed.
In May of 2020, Seth Welch was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for first degree murder, and an additional 25-36 years for first degree child abuse.
In November of 2021, Tatiana Fusari was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for first degree murder, and an additional 15-30 years for first degree child abuse.
I was unable to confirm what has become of their other 2 children, hopefully they are with a loving family somewhere.
