Join me as I hike the most scenic hike in South Carolina! This is the Table Rock Trail via the Pinnacle Mountain Trail. This is a strenuous hike with an elevation gain of 3.382 ft. My gps registered a distance of 11.43 miles for this hike.
The hike starts at the the Table Rock State Park Nature Center. The trail is next to some scenic waterfalls. Next as we get closer to Bald Knob you can see beautiful views of Table Rock. At Bald Knob the elevation is 2,849. Next we headed to the summit of Pinnacle Mountain where the elevation is 3,425 ft. (There are no views at the Pinnacle Mountain Summit). On the Ridge Trail we were greeted with some stunning pops of fall colors. Next we connected to the Table Rock trail and climbed to Governor's Rock elevation 2,854 ft. Finally we reached the summit of Table Rock elevation of 3,124 ft. We kept going after the summit sign to the Table Rock viewpoints. Next we headed back down via the Table Rock Trail and ended back at the Table Rock State Park Nature Center.
This is a beautiful, scenic hike but it is quite strenuous. It was a great workout with gorgeous views!
