One of the ways you can judge humanity is by our incredibly long military history. We've fought wars over almost everything. But not all were fought for noble reasons. In this video we look at military conflicts born from ridiculous circumstances. The most well known of these is the emu war, a conflict between a group of feral emu and the entire government of Australia.
But there are many less known examples just as strange. The goat war was fought between the government of Ecuador and 250 thousand goats in the Galapagos islands. It was several years of hardship before the government was able to declare victory of goat kind. Another bizarre example is the war of the bucket, where two Italian city states went to war over a wooden bucket. That really happened.
