Most people completely overlook what actually makes a good adjustable bench. They focus on price, aesthetics, or weight capacity… but the factors that actually determine whether a bench performs well under load are very different.
In this video, I break down what really matters when choosing an adjustable bench — including stability, pad design, adjustability, and overall usability — using the Major Fitness AH64 Apache Adjustable Bench as a real-world example. If you like to train hard and heavy with dumbbells or barbells, your bench is one of the most important pieces of equipment in your entire setup.
