In this video we take a look at both Banjo Kazooie on the Nintendo 64, and Mr Gimmick on the NES, and why the secret areas in their games are done right despite having a different angle - one mystery that was sadly left unfulfilled, and the other a trial dense set of secrets with a promised ending. Also, we take some time to appreciate the music in the secret areas.
