wow! The moon has passed in front of the sun once again :D
Matt Parker's video on the same eclipse! youtube.com/watch?v=wG2QEDm-k4U
GitHub repo with the source code for my remake of Celestia: github.com/carykh/eclipser
Corrections:
0:59 I meant to say that the closest Chilean airport to the eclipse location was in Punta Arenas, Chile, which is why the tourists and I toured and flew out from that city. (I don't think Argentina was accepting tourists at the time TEI planned their flights, although I'm not sure.) Ushuaia, Tolhuin, and many other Argentinian cities are even closer to the eclipse path (since they are farther east or south). And the Falkland Islands are closer as well.
2:10 The iPhone is taped to the window with masking tape, not duct tape. Honestly not a big deal.
