We traveled to the most unique location near the Donkey Lady Bridge in San Antonio Texas. We have heard about the place, filled with all kinds of items the owner has collected and decorated with for over 40 years. When I googled information about this location I read it had a tower built with all kinds of items from metal to old Walmart store stairs. The 50-foot-tall structure is composed of the decommissioned detritus of modern industry. Telephone poles, sheet metal, vent piping, box lids, railroad rails, Wal-Mart staircases, hospital walk-in freezers and more have been cobbled together. The owner is Phil Ross, an artist who has been battling the city of San Antonio to keep up his years' worth of work and art. We lucked out and got a walkthrough tour of his home and all the interesting artifacts he has been collecting. This was the most interesting and amazing thing we have seen and was truly an unexpected surprise.
