This week we're reviewing Moss & Freud — in UK cinemas from 29th May, courtesy of Vertigo Releasing.
Directed by Oscar-winning director James Lucas and starring Ellie Bamber as Kate Moss and Derek Jacobi as Lucian Freud, the film tells the remarkable true story of what happened when the world's most photographed supermodel sat for one of the greatest painters of the 20th century.
It's 2001. Lucian Freud offers to paint Kate Moss. What she thought would be a casual affair turns into something far more profound — sessions that brought discipline, solace and an unlikely but deeply felt friendship. Neither of them particularly loved the finished portrait. The art world did. It sold for £3.5 million. But that was never the point.
Phil is joined by Katherine "The Diva Herself" Ellis and Max (Lord of Darkness) to share their reactions.
