Mortal Shell II takes the foundation of the original and pushes it into a much larger, more ambitious dark fantasy Soulslike experience.

After finishing the game, I wanted to look at what works, what doesn’t, and—more importantly—whether all of its different systems and ideas actually come together into something worth playing.
