Phase 1 is just his phase 2 from the start of the game, but now he has another phase 2! For this phase, try to stay at mid range to bait his jump attack. He slams his lef fist once then jumps. Dodge forwar to his right, the punish. If you get the tail blood shots, you're probably too far away, but just sprint to avoid it.
