Mortal Shell 2 - All 5 Tarforge Upgrade Locations - Complete EASY Guide
All five Tarforge upgrades, each one shown from the approach through to the pickup, with the area it sits in named on screen as you go.
Here they are in the order this video collects them.
The Muradean Actuator comes out of Story Harros, so you will pass it whether you are hunting for it or not.
The Obsidian Lathe is in the Martyr Tomb Dungeon, reached from Widow's Overlook.
The Etching Needles sit in the Sunken Village, and the way in is behind the Mushroom Village Gate. That is an unmapped area, which is why most players finish the game without ever standing there.
The Foundry Stone is in the Outskirts of Mammon, off the Outskirts.
The Endless Core is on the Unfound Path, out from Marrow Keep, and this is the one that stops people.
Read this part before you set off for the fifth. The Endless Core is gated: all six beacons must be cleared before the Unfound Path opens to you. If you are sitting on four upgrades and cannot work out why the last one will not appear, that is the reason, and it is not a bug in your save.
There is a real bug worth knowing about here though. One of the beacons refuses to cleanse, which used to mean the gate stayed shut. The workaround is in the linked guide below: the update added new beacons, and cleansing those counts toward the same total, so you can still reach six without ever fixing the broken one.
Everything else is a walk. Follow the route shown, take the pickup, move on.
