Sub-Zero's moveset. In Mortal Kombat 1, he turns evil together with the entire Lin Kuei clan (potentially starting the Cyber Initiative later?). I found Mortal Kombat 11s Sub-Zero really boring and terrible. Here, he's more like the traditional Sub-Zero with his triple ice clones. As the opposite of Scorpion, he can use an ice version of his opponent-tracking ground flame (D, F Circle) which is somehow named Deadly Vapors, which seems wrong. As usual, he can use Ice Slice (B, F X). Triple Ice Klones return and are able to freeze opponents and stop projectiles or Kameo's. If the opponent collides with the first Ice Klone, he or she bounces off it and gets hit by the other two clones.

Like Batman and Superman, despite being one of the famous characters, she also has a kinda lame moveset. She has such few combos, too, and a circle attack thats basically random. Is this the worst character int he game? Gotta check some tier lists.

Red Hood has such badass attack animations, I almost got the game just to play this guy. But now that I finally own it, I gotta say that I dont like his circle attack mechanic. Its the kind of attack where you are locked in a stance and then have to press specific buttons to do anything, I dont like that here or in Mortal Kombat. Hes basically Proto MK11 Cassie Cage, but his throws and back jump look way more awesome than hers.

Dramatic Finishes are unique, cinematic cutscenes which look almost exactly like iconic scenes from the anime. They are triggered when certain fighers defeat others with a strong attack (circle on Playstation 4) in a specific stage, and sometimes with specific teammates. They are rather long and thus arent triggered easily, but its satisfying when they do. They cant be skipped.

Bane isnt a character I find very interesting (even though hes a very competent Batman villain). But man, hes really really fun and easy to play. For example, he can turn his combos into throws. I especially like the storylines where it turns out he caused the destruction of Supermans home planet, Krypton. In the Superman animated series, he was an AI used by the Kryptonians and later takes over the body of Lex Luthor, to look closer to how he looks in the classic comics. There, he collects worlds in bottles. He has a skull ship and something like a robot zombie army. He should appear in the movies.
Hes the main villain in the game and the final boss. His boss version has additional moves and higher mobility.
