OpenMW is an open source project that has completely redeveloped the vanilla game from scratch that runs great on modern hardware and supports thousands of pre-existing mods that completely overhaul the original games graphics.
Installing the mods yourself can be a very long and tedious process, I will try to upload my current mod installation to GitLab so everyone can get a copy of what I have working fast.
