Seeing as it's the start of the Shetland Box and Fiddle Festival I thought I'd better post a video. As much as I'd love to be home playing and dancing away to my hearts content, due to university commitments, I'm unable to attend this year. *insert sad face here*
This is a traditional Scottish tune called Morrison's Jig. Peter Wood, my first accordion tutor, taught it to me many, many years ago. It is a very common session tune and is played at a lot of ceilidhs. It's fun and easy to play, so if you would like to learn this tune, drop me a comment below and I will try to make a tutorial for it.
Please subscribe and like. If you are interested in keeping up to date with my gig information, I am on Facebook. Find me under: Lana Elaine Music. Go on, you know you want to! =P
