First, Jenny shows how she creates plastic templates, and a trick for helping them not slide around on the fabric. Then she talks about how to prepare the fabric and shows tracing the templates onto the fabric and cutting out the patches. Once the patches are cut, it's time to start assembling the block, and Jenny shows how to sew and press the patches, pinning as needed to keep the center points together without losing those points.
