Morphic Resonance is a wordless film exploring the subtle dialogue between humans and nature.

Filmed in forests and on frozen lakes in Sweden, the film follows a small group of artists and nature listeners as they respond to the living landscape around them. Crystal bowls, voice, birdsong, hand drums and silence weave together with the sounds of wind, water, ice and forest.

There is no narration. What unfolds is simply a series of encounters – moments where human presence meets the voice of the land.

All audio in the film is authentic. Nothing has been added or taken away.

Cast

Andris Birdwhisperer (Andris Fågelviskare) – tracker and bird imitator who can reproduce more than 120 species of birds.
Ellen Molnia – singer, artist and music producer.
Charu Hariharan – world-renowned kanjira (frame drum) player from India.
Joakim Ehn – singer-songwriter.
Petronella Sjöö – singer, storyteller and crystal bowl player.

The title Morphic Resonance is inspired by a concept proposed by biologist and author Rupert Sheldrake. The idea suggests that patterns of behaviour and change may ripple through living systems – that when something happens once, it becomes easier for it to happen again elsewhere.
