X-Men '97 Season 2, Episode 5: "Weapon X, Lies, and DVDs" — Team X discovers that Dr. Cornelius has been infected by an alien parasite called the Brood. He transforms in front of them into this disgusting alien monster. Suddenly they're fighting off a whole horde of these things coming through vents and crawling everywhere. Morph steps up and starts shapeshifting to handle the chaos. First, he becomes Punk from Alpha Flight — bouncing around the room, darting through the Brood swarm with agility. Then he transforms into The Thing and just starts stomping on these aliens left and right. Meanwhile Wolverine, Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike, and Maverick are all holding their own against the alien invasion. Every member of the team showed up and showed out. This scene is survival horror energy and it goes hard 💀

Morph going from Punk to The Thing to handle the Brood swarm is genius. Punk for the mobility and bouncing around the room, then The Thing for the heavy hitting and stomping. And everybody else on the team was doing their part too — Wolverine, Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike, all of them holding it down against the alien invasion. This scene goes hard.
