It's a great pleasure to share a new piece of music with you. To make things interesting, I decided to take the composition as a trialogue among the three characters, each represented by a specific instrument. Hence, the flute voices Sweetie Belle, the clarinet speaks for Scootaloo and the oboe stands for Apple Bloom. I did my best to reflect my take on each of the little fillies and show their curiosity, playfulness and courage in the music.
I stared working on this piece at the beginning of July and made most of the progress during the Summer holidays. For me, the song carries a piece of Summer in itself because of that, and because of the wonderful visual artwork by Holivi I based the music on.
I want to thank to Holivi for allowing me to feature her artwork with my music. This time around I knew I wanted to compose something specifically for that painting, and the amount of inspiration I took from her artwork is beyond words. She is an extremely talented artist and if you haven't already, do yourself a favour and browse through her gallery. ;)

Second, I want to thank all of you who have commented on and shared my music videos. I've had some bad days recently, and I can tell you there is no better cure for depression than reading through your heartwarming commentaries.
Last but not least, a traditional thank you to MelodicPony, without whose music and example I would never get this far. Melodic, I still miss you.

It was an absolute joy to work on this piece and I can't wait to plunge into a new project. See you all in a couple of months. :)
