144 BPM - this mix is typical for the clubs of my area at the end of the 90s, where Trance and Techno, sometimes even House got thrown in together all the time. Nowadays there is a more strict separation. At least for Techno it’s probably because a lot of DJs felt frustrated that we had no real Techno club around, so they had to play some of those records in between the Trance assortment. This is what the club scene was like back then and my own tapes reflect this.

Vinyl mixed and recorded on audio tape in Summer 1998, digitized in 2004.
