A while ago @markjohnstonofficial asked me to pick up this insanely beautiful Morgan Amplification PR12, and while I've had fun for a few months playing it behind the scenes, it's finally returned to it's rightful home on the back end of NAMM.
I thought there was no better way to send it off than to share a few of the first sounds that came to mind before I scour the web looking for another one to keep in the studio.
No talking, no details other than pedals in use, just some simple sounds and tired noodling.
A mixture of clean, dirty & ambient tones brought to you with the help of the Bondi Effects Squish As Compressor, Chase Bliss Tonal Recall RKM, Strymon Bigsky and Greer Lightspeed to show a few different angles and uses for the amp.
I love these kinds of amps because they do so many things so well, from the growl of low-wattage gain or open, airy ambient tones.
