Let’s give your Nintendo GameCube an absolutely ridiculous amount of storage. In this video we’re checking out two new mods for the console, the USB Dolphin SP1 and the Slot A/B variant, both designed by Makeo and Silver Steele. These devices let you load games from USB storage devices like SSDs and thumb drives, with support for capacities up to a mind blowing 128 petabytes, while the SP1 version even doubles as a broadband adapter replacement for Ethernet functionality. We’ll compare both versions, test them out using Swiss, talk about how they stack up against similar devices, and of course see just how practical these mods really are on real hardware.
