Still no plugins needed! Just a fun and silly way to animate something quick! (We actually use this trick all the time to animate cloth/curtains/hair etc).

For those without sound: Grab a puppet pin with Control or Command and drag it around. After Effects will record your motion! Now off set all the keyframes away from the center point to cause those parts to follow the main point. Super easy!
