Unlike our competitors, our knives are not only designed in Sweden - they are actually made in our Mora factory. Since 1891, we have proudly manufactured our knives in Mora, and for over 100 years, we have bought our steel from Sandviken, less than 115 kilometres from our factory. So, when it was time to find a partner for our new craft knife collab, we turned to Alleima (previously known as Sandviken). Together with three other Swedish companies, Alleima, Rondo Plast & TK Pac, we produced our latest craft knife, Morakniv Basic 546 SE (S). The SE knife is made from partially recycled materials without taking any shortcuts in quality.
