In several 10-man runs, bosses appear to be using mechanics tuned for 25 players. The result is predictable. Abilities that expect a full raid to soak instead land on a group half the size, and things unravel quickly.

This clip focuses on Lei Shen in Throne of Thunder, where the issue is particularly visible. The encounter feels less like a challenge and more like a configuration error.

If you have experienced similar behaviour, it would be sensible to report it to Blizzard Entertainment. The more consistent the reports, the faster it tends to be addressed. With any luck, upcoming raid content will be immune to this sort of scaling problem.
