In the fall time through early winter in Jackson Hole, Wyoming the moose feed on the bitterbrush that grows on the sagebrush flats in Grand Teton National Park. This fall ritual creates a great viewing and observation opportunity before the snow covers the food source.

The moose feed and play under the backdrop of the Grand Tetons. Their antlers will start to shed in late December and early January. For photographers, it is the last opportunity to photograph them with their full headdress.
