The new “Mooring and Shoreline Landing” video shows how to bring boats to a predetermined point by using a stopping procedure – giving consideration to wind, current, and boat traffic – and coming to a full, safe stop within twelve inches of their points of contact with the mooring.
Viewers will also learn how to arrive at an appropriate shoreline without damaging their propulsion units. Also featured are special tips such as pointing into the wind or current, when to use extra power, and how to ensure the safe disembarking of passengers and crew in a shoreline landing.
